neanderthol with a gun
sent home with nightmares
and lacking the limbs he started with.
a sightless tarantula
biting everything it feels
eight eyes, proven useless,
heightened hairy senses do this creature in.

true freedom is not release

but it is the sickle slicing
foreign bellies, stained from overuse.

young women & children
taught nothing else but to
love their country or die...
